Mission statement

An innovative model of technical and vocational education is being developed to fulfill the tasks set by President N.A. Nazarbayev. The innovative model is the introduction of a dual system of education based on a competency approach, the creation of a network of colleges in order to develop a new generation of programs. Creating such a model requires changes in the content of education, teaching methods, integration of science and industry. The activities of the college are determined by its mission. The mission of the college is to express the meaning of its results-oriented activities, the status of the college, the principles of its work and the intentions of the management.

 

The mission of the college: to provide education by meeting the needs of society and business for competitive professionals and technical mid-level professionals for innovative development to meet the labor market needs, industrial and innovative development of the country and the region.

The uniqueness of the college lies in the purposeful definition and development of the education model. The prerequisites for its formation were the differences in the education system of the 20th century and in today's market conditions.

For example, in the 20th century, the state was the guarantor of the career development of graduates in a planned economy. In a market economy, all the economic risks of career development are borne by graduates. Therefore, the college aims to train specialists with a high degree of adaptation and socialization, who will be able to react most effectively in a new market areas.

 

Area of college presence - Turkestan region. Since the college initially identified the sphere of influence as Turkestan region, in determining the mission, the leadership of the college took into account the needs and specifics of development of the region. South Kazakhstan region is a leading agro-industrial region in the national economy. The modern economy of the region is represented by oil - chemical industries, production and maintenance of agricultural machinery, construction and repair of roads, many enterprises for the repair of automobiles, roads and agricultural machinery, housing and communal services and construction organizations, IT technologies. Small and medium businesses in the field of tourism, services and training. All this contributes to the structure of educational programs of the college, where educational programs in the field of human resources training account for 70%.

 

Service "for the industrial and innovative development of the country and the region". In carrying out its mission, the college identifies strategic priorities for its activities that will ensure sustainable development in the future and for current purposes. These priorities and strategic goals are the conceptual basis for the development of annual work plans. The strategy of the college is aimed at implementing the objectives of the Governmental Program for the Development of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2016-2019 and the Governmental Program for the Industrial-Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019.

Based on the mission and vision, the strategic goal of the college was defined as: "to form and educate competitive specialists who will be able to realize their professional potentials."

 

To achieve its goals, the college has its own objectives:

Improving the material and technical base of the college, regular replenishment of the educational material base necessary for the educational process, professional development of teachers, creating conditions for the development of professional skills, improving the quality of educational work of the college, quality training of competitive professionals.

Since 2005, a new strategic goal of the teaching staff has been identified: "formation and education of competitive specialists who can realize their professional potentials." Methodical work has been revived. Teachers began to win prizes in competitions of pedagogical skills. 2005 - "College Honor Day" will be held. 2004 - college logo was approved. A resource center for training, retraining and advanced training will be opened on the basis of the college. 2015 - 2016 - The college became a grant recipient in the framework of the implementation of the plan of institutional development of the project "Modernization of technical and vocational education", implemented at the expense of the regional and national budgets. 2012 - The college successfully passed the state certification.

The college is a modern educational institution, one of the largest educational institutions in Sairam district of the region. The college carries out its activities in close cooperation with businesses in Sairam district and the region. Through the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, cooperate with educational institutions of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, such as the Academy of Arts "Bekzada Kamoliddinova" and "P. Benkov".

The Professional training college is a recognized leader in technical and vocational education in the field of service, economics and management of the Turkestan region and the Republic of Kazakhstan, an innovative educational organization with an effective corporate management system, functioning in the interests of students, teachers, employers and other stakeholders.

Teachers, students, college staff took an active part in the discussion of the mission. Meetings were held in all departments to discuss the mission, during which each stakeholder had the opportunity to present their version of this document. As a result of collective discussion, the content of the mission was repeatedly adjusted, the system of values ​​and the vision of the college were clarified. The final version, considering all the comments, was discussed and unanimously adopted at the pedagogical council on October 25, 2017 (Minutes of meeting No. 2).

The mission, goals and objectives of the college correspond to the available resources: human resources, educational environment (educational and production process, methodological process, educational technologies, educational process), financial and information resources, college infrastructure, which together provide the potential of the college and meet market requirements labor.
